But there’s good news: It’s easy to get your business in front of the right people at the right time with a foolproof Black Friday marketing strategy. In this article, we’re sharing everything you need to craft an irresistible marketing campaign, including click-worthy Black Friday email examples and Black Friday banner ideas.
5 elements to include in a Black Friday sale banner
Black Friday marketing might seem intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. As long as you can craft an amazing creative strategy, you’ll stand out in a sea of similar marketing promos and show customers why your brand is the best choice. Here’s how to get started, specifically with an attention-grabbing Black Friday banner.
1) Compelling headline
First, you’ll need to capture your audience’s attention with a compelling headline. To send the right message, stick with short and simple copy that draws people’s eyes to your banner. And remember: Your typography choice matters, too. Most Black Friday banners choose bold font styles to stand out but don’t be afraid to think outside the box with a modern or calligraphy font.

2) Simple layout
Banners might differ in size depending on whether you’re creating an email banner, blog banner, or display ad. And since you’re working with limited space, your layout is essential. Create a minimalist banner by including the most important details and leaving out the rest. This way, potential customers can quickly digest all key information from your banner at a glance.
3) Sense of urgency
When it comes to holiday marketing, the best Black Friday examples have one thing in common – they create a sense of urgency to encourage customers to take action.
Your customers’ mindset during Black Friday weekend is hyper focused on getting more for less, so you want to tap into a sense of FOMO to seal the deal. Try offering limited-time discounts and throwing in urgent words like “limited,” “today only,” or “last chance” to give your customers the extra nudge they need to click the Buy Now button.
4) Eye-catching color palette
Not sure which colors to choose for your Black Friday banner? Tap into color psychology to strike an emotional chord with your audience.
If you’re scouring the web for Black Friday banner ideas, you’ve probably already noticed one prominent color: black. Black symbolizes power, authority, and elegance, making it a great choice for Black Friday banner designs. You’ll also want to incorporate colors from your brand style guide to build recognition.
5) Irresistible call to action
Never underestimate the power of a strong call to action. It’s the final push you need to encourage customers to take action, and the right words can have a powerful effect on your audience’s next move. Just think about the above mentioned sense of urgency. If you see “final few” you’re more likely to click Buy Now. So when it comes to Black Friday sale banner design, your CTA should be clear, concise, and stick out without overpowering any other visual elements.

Ready to take your marketing strategy to the next level? Here are some of the best Black Friday examples to set your business apart.

Give a free gift with purchase
Let’s face it: everyone loves free stuff. When you give away a free gift with every Black Friday purchase, you’re more likely to attract potential customers as well as keep existing customers coming back for more. Plus, this sales strategy can help you drive word-of-mouth referrals. It doesn’t have to be a major gift, either – you can keep it simple with something affordable, a gift card, or a discount on a future purchase. You can also set an order minimum to qualify to to receive the freebie, such as $75 or more.
To spread the word about your freebies, create an eye-catching Black Friday banner for your website with our easy-to-use blog banner templates. If you’re giving away something tangible, include an eye-catching image of it in the banner design. Don’t be afraid to get creative!

Create a holiday gift guide
Chances are, your customers are planning to do some holiday shopping on Black Friday. So, why not boost your sales by creating holiday gift guides? They’re a great way to showcase your products in a festive light. Just get creative with the photography and design elements you add.
In your gift guide, consider creating holiday gift bundles by grouping together a few related products together to encourage customers to buy more at a discount price. Position them as the perfect all-in-one gift for friends, family, or coworkers. They help you create a stress-free holiday shopping experience for your customers, all while upselling your products. It’s a win-win!

Step up your marketing with email campaigns
Your customers are scouring the internet, checking their email, following you on social media, and searching for great deals well before the Black Friday rush hits. While it may take longer to set up than a social media campaign, email marketing is one of the best ways to highlight your promotions for Black Friday while staying in contact with your customers throughout the year.
Before the holidays roll around, check out what other brands you love have sent for Black Friday email examples. You can also draw inspiration from banner templates and customize them for your email send. Once you’ve figured out what’s working (and what isn’t), create a conversion-worthy Black Friday banner to showcase your special deals, discount codes, and/or gift with purchase.
Want to get your business in front of potential customers? Head to social media. Search for and then create content using relevant trending hashtags to hype up your customers before Black Friday shopping starts.
